"Summer Camp for 6th -12th Grade Students!
STEM Supplemental Courses
We've had so many inquiries for summer classes at Bitwise that we just had to create a new program. Beginning Monday, Geekwise Academy is offering some sweet courses in Robotics and Game Design for students in 6th-12th grade. Students get a peek into exciting careers in the industry with an emphasis on the importance of science, math, and technology. Each course will last 3 hours, Monday-Friday, and run for two weeks. Session 1 begins July 13th, and Session 2 begins July 27th. Seating is limited.
Robotics (9AM - 12PM), Session 1 & 2
In these courses, students will be exposed to computer programming, science, and engineering practices. They also will be able to take their creations (a.k.a totally rad robots) home at the end of the course. Students will be provided with all hardware to create their robots, as well as access to a laptop during class hours. There are only four seats left for the two-week session starting Monday, July 13th, and sevenseats left for the session beginning on July 27th. Sign up now!
Game Design (1PM - 4PM), Session 1 & 2
This set of courses will expose students to computer programming, math, and technology practices. Students will be able to export their software creations (a.k.a totally awesome game) at the end of the course for use at home. Students will be provided with all software required as well as access to a laptop during class. There are only eight seats left in each two-week session so sign up before it's full!
