On July 1 the Governor signed into law AB 104. This law is intended to help students who’s grades suffered due to school “shut down” and distance learning. For a limited time, high school students or their parents may request our school to change a letter grade to a Pass or No Pass for any classes taken during the 2020-21 school year.
The Grade Change Application form can be found on Glacier’s and Endeavor’s websites under the forms tab or at school starting August 2nd.
The direct Endeavor link to the form is: https://www.endeavorcharter.org/uploads/1/3/4/6/13462031/gradechange20form.pdf
The direct Glacier link to the form is: https://www.glacierhighcharter.org/uploads/1/3/4/6/13462031/gradechange20form.pdf
The Grade Change Application form must be submitted no later than August 13, 2021. No grade change requests will be accepted after that date. Please email your form to [email protected] or bring the completed form to Cheryl or Marianne at school. If you have questions, office staff will be available starting Monday August 2nd.
Students or parents who request a grade change to Pass or No Pass will receive written confirmation within fifteen 15 calendar days of receipt of the application.
For the 2020–21 through 2023–24 school year, a list of institutions that will accept, for admission purposes, a transcript with a Pass or No Pass grade instead of a letter grade for an applicant pursuant to Education Code Section 49066.5(b) can be found at https://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/gs/ps/ab104surveyresults.asp
**Please note that some postsecondary institutions, including those in other states, may not accept a Pass or No Pass grade in lieu of a letter grade for admission purposes.
