Language Art Courses

• Glacier's Composition classes have one defining objective--to improve students’ ability to write well. They have been designed with the high school homeschooled student in mind who would benefit from instruction that supplements an English curriculum and will cover many of the topics prescribed in the California Common Core Standards such as developing thesis statements; writing arguments, informative/explanatory, and narrative texts; learning and using the steps in the writing process; using technology in writing projects; and conducting short and longer range writing projects.
