Leadership Class

Class Description: The GHS LEADERSHIP/ASB course dynamically fosters leadership skills that can be applied during high school and beyond. The course is designed to build upon leadership traits in each student through exploring interpersonal communication skills, self-awareness, public speaking, critical thinking, leadership traits in world leaders, and real-world applications such as study skills, professionalism, resume writing, and best practices for interviews. Students put these traits and skills into practice in a variety of ways including community service, planning school-wide events, and designing and carrying out a community-based project that makes a difference in the lives of others. GHS strongly suggests that every student complete at least one year of the Leadership class and we are ecstatic as we see some students return for two, three, or even four years of Leadership.
