Glacier High School is offering the PSAT test this October 30th at our Oakhurst Campus. The test will start at 8:15am in Modular A.
Mrs. Buca will be having a PSAT prep time every Wednesday starting Oct. 2nd until the PSAT test. So to get prepared for the PSAT, come to Mrs. Buca’s class from 9:45-10:30am. You will not regret it.
Why should I take the PSAT?
The PSAT is a useful diagnostic tool in preparing for the college entrance exam SAT. Students can take a “dry run” at similar materials to the SAT, and get a detailed breakdown of skill levels, particularly those that need improvement. If weak areas are addressed, it can improve scores later.
Some individuals begin to receive early scholarship offers if results are exceptionally good on the PSAT.
The more a student tests, the more they are comfortable the testing environment. If a student never tests, the experience can feel pressure packed- like being thrown into the deep end of the pool.
The cost is $14, this is not covered by the school. You can pay Cheryl, our secretary. Please contact your charter teacher or test proctor Mrs. Buca by this next Tuesday, Sept. 17th if you are planning on attending. We want to make sure we have enough test booklets.
