Graduating Senior meeting this Monday January 26th at 2pm in Oakhurst. Mr. Hagen will be reviewing the process of applying for local awards and scholarships. He will also give you a list of both local and national awards you may qualify for. Parents are encouraged to attend. For students in the Kingsburg area contact Nancy Garcia for more information.
An opportunity for all students 9th - 12th grade to earn scholarships up totaling up to $25,000. The Lions Club holds an annual Student Speaker Contest. This competition is open to all High School Students and encourages them to hone their talent through research, speech drafting, and oration skills. This years topic is "Water Conservation - How Can We Reduce, Recycle, and Reclaim?" Students start with the local level competition and each finalist proceeds through larger regional contests. At each level there are scholarships ranging from $100 all the way to $10,000.
