Underwater Robotics

Students design, build, and pilot remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to compete in either the SCOUT, NAVIGATOR, or the RANGER class in Monterey. The event includes underwater missions, a poster display, and an engineering presentation. The MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education) Center provides support through teacher and student workshops, some building materials, and access to mentors.
